Senate Bill 228 will be the focus of discussion on the CrossCurrents television program scheduled for Thursday, May 28, from 7-8 p.m. Televised in the Fort Collins City Council Chambers, 300 LaPorte Avenue, the public is invited to attend and to submit questions. Senate Bill 228 is the repeal of the Arveschoug-Bird 6 percent budget restriction on state government spending.
Panelists include Don Marostica, state representative, District 51; Kevin Lundberg, state senator, District 15; and Randy Fischer, state representative, District 53. Barbara Rutstein, a member of the League of Women Voters of Larimer County, will moderate the discussion.
The audience is requested to arrive and be seated 10-15 minutes early, as television broadcast of the program will begin promptly at 7 p.m.
The live broadcast can be seen on Fort Collins Cable Channel 14 (Channel 45 in Wellington and LaPorte). The program will be rebroadcast periodically on Cable 14 and on Loveland Channel 16. DVD copies will be made available at public libraries in Fort Collins and Berthoud.
