Residents in the Crystal Fire area who lost property are asked to call Larimer County Emergency Manager Erik Nilsson to report their loss. The number is 970-498-5310. If the number is busy or there is no answer, they should leave a voicemail message with their contact information.
The emergency manager is interested in any property loss, houses, trailers, vehicles, sheds, et cetera.
The information will be used to help determine what needs residents have and the total amount of losses suffered.

If any of you have lost property on the Crystal fire please avail yourselves of a good resource for information which has been put together for your benefit. You can secure the Crystal Fire Relief and Recovery Guide by either calling 211 for instructions on getting a hard copy or simply go to www.firstcall211.org [2]. Also, the State Division of Insurance has a consumer service hotline 1-800-930-3745 if any of you seem to be having difficulties with getting cooperation from your insurance companies. One more thing, for those who have lost or damaged property, we are trying to get a handle on how much has been lost so if you would be so kind as to call 498-5310 (Emergency Management) and report that damage to me or my voice mail, it would be helpful. If it is only burned land and no structures, improvements or vehicles, etc. involved I don’t need to hear from you as we already have that information well documented.
