“Berthoud area residents are invited to an informational meeting to learn about Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Kiwanis emphasizes programs for youth and children in the community. Kiwanis Division #16 Lt. Governor believes Berthoud is an ideal community to join the seven Kiwanis Clubs in Larimer Count: Estes Park, Fort Collins, and Loveland. Kiwanis programs are available to high school, middle school, and elementary age students with successful models in place in Larimer County. Through these clubs, students are to succeed academically, to volunteer and to care about the community in which they live. All interested persons are encouraged to attend a meeting on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Berthoud Community Library. Additional material is available at the library or by calling Jack Gianola at 970-223-4500.”
