Monday, Feb. 1

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Megan Way. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted with a medical call for injury from an assault at Berthoud High School.

BFPD dive rescue team responded to a call for two dogs found in the lake near the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. A responsible party rescued one dog before the dive team’s arrival. The BFPD dive team searched the area, but was unable to find any evidence of another dog at the scene.


Tuesday, Feb. 2

BFPD assisted TVEMS with a medical call for seizures on Massachusetts Avenue.

BFPD assisted with a medical call for seizures on S. County Road 17. The patient was transported.


Wednesday, Feb. 3

BFPD assisted with a citizen assist at the Berthoud Living Center.


Thursday, Feb. 4

BFPD responded to a medical call on Fourth Street. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 25 @ mile marker 249. There was minor damage to the vehicle and there were no injuries.

BFPD responded to a reported vehicle fire on Interstate 25@ mile marker 249. Upon arrival the fire was extinguished.


Friday, Feb. 5

BFPD assisted with a medical call for an infant who had fallen from a changing table on Megan Way. Upon arrival of TVEMS the patient care was transferred to them.

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Weld County Road 46 for a patient having back pain after a fall. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted with a medical call for seizures at Turner Middle School. The patient was transported.


Saturday, Feb. 6

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Sundown Court for a female who had been kicked in the face by a horse. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted with a medical call for a patient who had fallen on Welch Avenue. The patient was transported.


Sunday, Feb. 7

BFPD responded to a call on Beverly Drive for a child who had received a minor head injury while playing. The patient care was transferred to TVEMS upon their arrival to the scene.


Thursday, Feb. 11

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 287 and First Street. There was minor damage to the vehicle and there were no reported injuries.


Sunday, Feb. 14

BFPD responded to a report of a car that had rolled down an embankment in the area of County Road 27E and County Road 8E near the water treatment plant. There were no injuries and the vehicle was eventually started and driven off the hill by the owner.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 @ mile marker 253. This was a single vehicle rollover accident with heavy damage and there were no reported injuries.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident involving six vehicles on Interstate 25 @ mile marker 252. There was moderate damage to the vehicles and two patients were injured and transported.

BFPD assisted TVEMS with transporting a patient from the Berthoud Living Center.


Monday, Feb. 15

BFPD assisted with a medical call for heart problems on Third Street. The patient was transported.


Tuesday, Feb. 16

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Weld County Road 36. The crew assisted TVEMS with transporting the patient.


Wednesday, Feb. 17

BFPD responded to a carbon monoxide call on Third Street. After investigation, no levels of carbon monoxide were found at the residence.  The owners were advised to replace the faulty detector.


Friday, Feb. 19

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Second Street for a sick infant. Upon arrival of TVEMS the patient care was transferred to them. The patient was transported.


Saturday, Feb. 20

BFPD responded with Loveland Fire to a multiple vehicle accident on Interstate 25 @ mile marker 254. Berthoud crew assisted with extrication of one patient who was then transported.  There were no other injuries reported.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 @ mile marker 248. This was a rollover accident, there were no injuries.

BFPD responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 287 and CR 6. There was heavy damage to both vehicles.  There were no reported injuries.

BFPD responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of White Water Court and Highway 287. Upon arrival to the scene, both vehicles were in the ditch with one person still in a vehicle.  The patient was extricated and transported.

BFPD responded to a two-vehicle accident south of County Road 17 and Highway 287 in the northbound lanes. One vehicle was rolled onto its roof.  There were no injuries involved in the accident.


Monday, Feb. 22,

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Mountain Avenue. The patient was transported.

BFPD responded to a commercial fire alarm on Bunyan Avenue. Upon arrival, the crew found steam coming from a burst waterline inside the hot water heater.


Tuesday, Feb. 23,

BFPD assisted a patient at the Berthoud Living Center.


Wednesday, Feb. 24,

BFPD assisted a citizen on Fourth Street with help into a wheelchair after a fall.

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Arapahoe Street for a person who had fallen and cut their face.

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Karen Court for a patient experiencing breathing difficulties. The patient was transported.


Thursday, Feb. 25,

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Live Oak Court for a sick person. The patient was transported.


Saturday, Feb. 27,

BFPD assisted with a medical call on County Road 17 for a patient experiencing chest pains.


Sunday, Feb. 28,

BFPD assisted with a medical call on Greenwood Drive for a patient having difficulty breathing. The patient was transported.

BFPD assisted with a medical call on S. County Road 17 for a sick person. The patient was transported.
