BFPD responded to a grass/wildland fire west of U.S. Hwy 287 and north of County Road 6. This was a 10- to 12-acre fire that was quickly contained due to the efforts of Berthoud, Longmont, Hygiene and Mountain View fire departments. One structure received heat damage. The cause of the fire was accidental as a result of routine farming operations.

BFPD responded to a motor vehicle rollover accident on Sixth St. and Turner Ave. This was a two-car accident and there were no injured occupants.
BFPD responded to a structure fire on Colorado Ave. The fire was at the rear of the house on the deck. The source of ignition was undetermined at this time.

BFPD responded to a pickup truck on fire on Second St. The cause of ignition was undetermined at this time.
