Fire Report: Feb. 12, 2009

Incident Activity for Feb 2-8

Feb. 2, 2009- BFPD responded to E. Highway 56 to assist with a controlled burn.

Feb. 2, 2009- BFPD assisted with a walk-in patient who had accidentally cut his left hand/wrist area. When TVEMS arrived the patient was loaded for transport.

Feb. 3, 2009- BFPD responded to a grass fire in the SE corner of the Rainbow Lake area on N. County Road 23. This was an unauthorized controlled burn.

Feb. 3, 2009- BFPD responded to a reported residential fire on Schofield Road. The fire was an unauthorized burn for which no permit was issued and was extinguished upon arrival.

Feb. 5, 2009- BFPD responded to N. 83rd Street and Yellowstone Road for a reported grass fire. Upon our arrival the crew found two large stumps on fire caused by a ditch burn earlier in the day. The fire was extinguished as well as a few more hot spots found in the area.

Feb. 5, 2009- BFPD responded to a two car motor vehicle accident on E. Michigan Avenue.  One vehicle was found on its roof and the driver was extricated. The fire crew assisted with stabilization of the patient. The other vehicle involved was parked and unoccupied but did receive minor damage.

Feb. 6, 2009- BFPD assisted with a medical call on 8th Street. The patient was transported.

Feb. 6, 2009- BFPD assisted with a medical call for abdominal pain on 10th Street. The patient was transported.

Feb. 6, 2009- BFPD assisted with a medical call for a patient with a possible broken arm on S. County Road 21. The patient was transported.

Feb. 7, 2009- BFPD responded to a four car motor vehicle accident on I-25 @ mile marker 248. There were no injuries reported. The fire crew assisted Colorado State Patrol with traffic control.

Feb. 7, 2009- BFPD assisted with a medical call on Weld County Road 1.

Feb. 8, 2009- BFPD responded to a medical call on 6th Street for breathing problems.
