Alex Sabados and his parents put up a valiant battle against Alex’s brain tumors. They lost the battle and we lost Alex. However, the fight was expensive and took is toll on the family. The Berthoud High School Student Council has been helping. They have had several events to help Alex including penny wars, selling T-shirts and selling wrist bands. More events had been planned and the council is going ahead with he events to help the family.
The next big event is a garage sale at the school on Saturday, April 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Donations are needed for the sale. Take your items to the auxiliary gym on the east side of the school on April 16, the day before the sale. No big appliances please. Students will be there to assist in unloading.
We want this to be a big event so dig deep and find those treasures and come back the next day to buy some new treasures.
Kudos to the Student Council for all the effort they have put into helping Alex and his family.
