KEN BUCK SUPPORTS POLICIES TO SHIP COLORADO JOBS OVERSEAS – SO DOES HE BACK TODAY’S SENATE BILL TO CREATE JOBS AND END OFFSHORING?

Senate Voting Today To Close Tax Loopholes For Companies That Ship American Jobs Overseas, While Providing Incentives To Keep Jobs In America

Buck Should Tell Colorado Voters Where He Stands On The Creating American Jobs And Ending Offshoring Act

With the U.S. Senate set to vote today on the Creating American Jobs and Ending Offshoring Act, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is asking Republican Senate candidate Ken Buck to tell Colorado voters if he stands with Colorado workers or with companies that ship Colorado jobs overseas.

“We already know Ken Buck supports policies to ship jobs overseas, but now he needs to answer if he supports today’s Senate bill to end offshoring and create jobs,” said DSCC National Press Secretary Deirdre Murphy. “As a U.S. Senate candidate, Ken Buck should have to answer to voters in Colorado – Does he support a bill that sides with Colorado workers or does he side with corporations that ship jobs overseas?”

The Creating American Jobs and Ending Offshoring Act will be voted on today in the U.S. Senate. This legislation contains incentives to create American jobs, including a payroll tax holiday, and contains disincentives to moving American jobs overseas, such as ending subsidies for plant closing costs and ending tax breaks for runaway plants.
