Larimer County Announces new Recruitment/Applicant Tracking System

Larimer County, Colorado – Larimer County’s Human Resources (HR) department has a new system for filling jobs at Larimer County. The system, called NEOGOV Insight Enterprise, is a web-based, workforce management solution specifically designed for use by government. According to Linda Illum, Human Resources Business Operations Manager, “The new system incorporates all aspects of recruitment, selection, applicant tracking, workflow automation, reporting and analysis. It’s an easy-to-use system designed to enhance Larimer County’s efficiency and effectiveness. The NEOGOV system also has state-of-the-art security to ensure that our data is not compromised. ” The new system features:

Recruitment – The new system increases the visibility of County job announcements and reduces the effort it takes to create and manage announcements. Larimer County now accepts job applications online only and citizens can now access job descriptions directly! From the County website, , the new system seamlessly links applicants to the new online NEOGOV site where job announcements and job descriptions are featured when you click on ‘Current Openings. ’ Click on ‘Job Descriptions’ and you will see the listing of County jobs. HR has a computer Kiosk available for applicants to use to apply for job postings in the HR office, located at 2555 Midpoint Drive, Suite A, Fort Collins.

Selection – The new system provides County staff with tools to effectively and efficiently screen and identify the applicants who best meet the requirements of the job using an automated screening system. This will reduce the amount of time it takes to review applications and assist in filling vacancies more quickly.

Applicant Tracking –The system lets the County effectively reduce time-to-hire by electronically distributing all materials online. The new system allows the County to send Email or hard copy notifications to applicants, track applicant information and maintain detailed applicant history records. NEOGOV also has a feature that allows applicants to self- schedule written, oral, and other exams if needed.

HR Automation – The system features a user-friendly, intuitive interface that our County HR staff will quickly adapt to. It will also significantly reduce the amount of paper used to review and process applications, reducing costs and saving resources
