Loveland Workforce Center reopens for business

The Loveland office of the Larimer County Workforce Center, located at 418 E. 4th St., which temporarily closed for extensive remodeling in late September, has re-opened for business. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Job seekers and employers can also access Workforce Center services online at www.LarimerWorkForce.org.

McKee CEO steps down
CEO Chris Cornue is stepping down from his post at McKee Hospital this Friday, Oct. 23. In a letter dated Thursday, Oct. 15, Cornue, who moved to Colorado anticipating relocating his family at a later date, noted pressing family needs require him to “move back to Chicago to be with them.”

He said the decision was a difficult one. “I have never had a job that I have enjoyed so much, nor been in a community that is so special. I believe strongly in what we have accomplished in the past 13 months and in the direction that McKee is heading … one that all of you will carry on.”

Zitney joins RE/MAX Action Brokers
Shannan Zitney recently made the move from RE/MAX Town and Country (formerly Maggi Town and Country) in Berthoud to the RE/MAX Action Brokers at Centerra in Loveland. She has been a Berthoud resident and local agent since 2001.

Zitney has completed several classes and gained designations such as GRI, Graduate Realtor Institute; and CDPE, Certified Distressed Property Expert, among others.

She is currently in the process of completing her education for designations as CRS, Certified Residential Specialist; and SFR, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource.
