Lloyd and Linda Mobley will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Feb. 19, 2009.
They met at Azars Big Boy Restaurant in Denver where they both worked. They were married in 1969 in Redondo Beach, Calif. at the home of Lloyd’s mother, Dorothy. Before settling in Berthoud, they also lived in Denver, Alamosa, Loveland, California and Oregon.
Lloyd and Linda are self-employed as professional magicians, performing magic and illusion shows for schools, churches, theaters and many other venues. They are currently starting a Junior Magic Club and workshop for children on the Front Range. They are also professional photographers.
They attribute the success of their marriage to their love and devotion to God, to each other and to their family. Their children are Stephanie and David Carr of Loveland and Dr. Lloyd III and Melinda Mobley of Castle Rock. They describe their five grandchildren, Mandy, Gabriel, Desirae, William and Collier, as being wonderful.
Lloyd and Linda are familiar sights around Berthoud and contribute their talents at many local functions.
