Obituary: Charles B. Pfab

Charles B. Pfab, 77, of Berthoud passed away February 11, 2010. He was born October 21, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Francis and Marie (Becker) Pfab.

He attended St. Catherine’s Catholic School in Pittsburgh and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On February 17, 1960 he and Pauline Evans were married in Denver, Colorado.  She preceded him in death in 1984. He moved from Uniontown, PA to Berthoud in 1986.  He was a bus driver for Greyhound Bus Lines and a member of the Elks Club in Loveland, the American Legion, and the VFW.

He is survived by his son Frank (Shannon) Pfab, Loveland; daughters Barb (Joe) Hartman, Janet Girard all of Loveland, Rita (Doug) Bowers, Madill, OK, Debbie Joyce, Leawood, KS, Connie (Mike) Stiers, Parachute, CO, and Christine (Chad) Montgomery, Shawnee, KS. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and a long-time friend Virginia Durrant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pauline, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held Monday 2 p.m. at Viegut Funeral Home. Viewing 10 to noon Sunday and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. A reception to follow at the Elks Club. Interment at Lafayette Memorial Park, Uniontown, PA.
