Obituary: Marilyn Elaine White

Marilyn Elaine White, 59, of Berthoud, CO, died on February 10, 2010 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. She was born on October 7, 1950 in Greeley, CO, to Chester Herman and Agnes Marian (Anderson) Stevens.

Marilyn graduated from Loveland High School.

On December 6, 1969, in Loveland, CO, she married Orman L. “O.L.”White.

Marilyn worked as a homemaker and later, after the kids had grown, she worked outside the home, doing companion care.

She was active throughout her life, with Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts, and the P.T.A.  She loved football and was an avid Denver Broncos fan.  She loved flowers, gardening and canning.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, four-wheeling, and was a very avid reader.  She also enjoyed sightseeing, rides in the mountains, and rollercoasters.

Marilyn has lived in the Berthoud/Loveland area for 41 years.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Orman L. “O.L.” White of Berthoud, daughter, Tammy Swartz and husband Matt of Loveland, sons, Matthew White of Loveland, Kevin White and wife Michelle of Evans, CO, and grandchildren, Kathleen and Miranda Swartz of Loveland, and Zach, Zeke and Tiana Perez of Evans, CO.  She is also survived by her sister, Clara Meyers and husband Ben of Loveland, and brother, John Stevens and wife Beverly of Utah.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Charles Orman White, and brother Larry Stevens.

Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m, Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Home in Loveland.  Viewing will be from 10-1:00 p..m., prior to the service.  Cremation will take place.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Marilyn E. White Memorial Fund in care of Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Home.
