It is that time of year again when the creatures venture out looking for food. The Division of Wildlife has recently publicized that it is illegal to feed wild animals. Next Total Eclipses of the Moon will be on June 15 and December 10, 2011   There will be four partial solar eclipses in 2011, none will be visible in the United States except the June 1 event which will be visible from northern Alaska.

Pelicans stop at Foster Reservoir

With water storage at record levels and a high spring runoff, even Foster and Coleman Reservoirs west of Berthoud have abundant water for the first time in years. These iternerant pelicans took advantage of that and stopped for a little fishing at Foster last Wednesday.
