PrairieStar endorses Stockley for 49

Karen Stockley Receives Key Endorsement from New Energy Sector

House District 49 Candidate, Karen Stockley, has spent months talking to voters about the importance of “working with the land.” When voters ask her what she means, she often points to Scott Sarbaugh’s PrairieStar development north of Berthoud. “As a self-sustaining solar-powered community, PrairieStar grows the local economy without draining precious resources. I’m honored that Mr. Sarbaugh and PrairieStar are now endorsing me for House District 49.”

According to Mr. Sarbaugh,

“PrairieStar is on the cutting edge in the new energy economy and we are fortunate to be in Karen’s district. She understands the land planning principles behind preserving open space and producing sustainable communities. Karen’s addition to the House of Representatives will go a long way in supporting new green energy legislation, job creation and community interaction—all areas that promote the town of Berthoud’s objective to be a leader in the areas of renewable energy and economic growth in Colorado. ”

Stockley for House District 49 welcomes Mr. Sarbaugh’s support, and encourages voters from around the district to take a look at PrairieStar as a practical model for the way the new energy economy can mean jobs right here in Northern Colorado.
