Ramp From Crossroads Boulevard to southbound I-25 to close next week

LOVELAND— Starting at 7 a. m. on Monday, April 12th and continuing until 5 p. m. on Thursday, April 15th, weather permitting, the ramp from Crossroads Boulevard to southbound I-25 will be completely closed as part of the ongoing construction project at this interchange. Crews will be constructing the new on-ramp and connecting it to I-25. The new on-ramp will eventually tie into the new roundabouts being constructed on Crossroads Boulevard. During the closure, motorists will be detoured east to Centerra Parkway. Once on Centerra Parkway, motorists will go south to US 34 and then west on US 34 to I-25. Detour signs will be posted. The ramp work is part of an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project that constructs roundabouts at the I-25 interchange to help improve mobility and safety. The Recovery Act is funding $3 million of the $6.4 million project and the City of Loveland and the Centerra Metropolitan District is funding the rest of the project. Jalisco International, Inc. is the contractor for this project which is scheduled to be complete in August 2010. In all, Colorado received nearly $400 million for highway projects and $103 million for transit projects. For more information about how Colorado is putting the Recovery Act to work, visit <>.
