FLAT MIKE COFFMAN TO VISIT CD6 DURING RECESS WEEK, URGE CONSTITUENTS TO #GET COVERED
SINCE 3D COFFMAN HAS NO PUBLIC EVENTS,
FLAT MIKE WILL HAVE TO “STAND IN”
Denver/Aurora/Brighton - Despite the Congressional recess and an in-district work week, Congressman Mike Coffman has no public events on his calendar to meet with his constituents. As a surrogate, Flat Mike, like Flat Stanley, will be “standing in” for Coffman and urging CD6 constituents to #GetCovered.
Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, 5,800 young adults in CD6 now have health insurance through their parents’ plan. 85,000 seniors in the district are now eligible for Medicare preventive services without paying any co-pays, coinsurance, or deductible. And up to 48,000 children in CD6 with preexisting health conditions can no longer be denied coverage by health insurers.
You can follow his progress on Twitter @ProtectYourCare and #FlatMike. He’ll start in Brighton Wednesday afternoon, the site of two October 5 events Coffman cancelled due to the shutdown he voted for.
