Second annual Berthoud Bash, March 20

It’s not too late to make your reservation, but don’t wait too long. The Berthoud Bash is the creation of the Berthoud Schools Fund, which operates under the umbrella of theThompson Education Foundation.

The Berthoud Bash was instituted last year to raise money to purchase technology for Berthoud Schools. The founders wanted to allow schools to purchase equipment that would enhance our students learning, equipment that is not in the school district budget.

The wish list from the schools last year was approximately $115,000 and last years event went a long way toward that goal by raising over $50,000.

With the reduced budget looming, these additional funds are even more important. The 21-year-old Thompson School Fund and the two-year-old Berthoud Schools Fund contribute greatly to the enhancement of our children’s education.

The Berthoud School Fund website has more information about the event and a complete list of the exciting silent auction items. A special guest for the evening is Karl Mecklenberg. He has contributed a Jersey, which he will sign personally after the auction. There is much more than sports in the silent auction. Would you like a fire engine tour of Loveland or a trip to New York? These are among the items listed on the catalogue.

Visit Berthoud Schools Fund, find our more, and make your reservation for a fun filled evening.
