In this campaign season, we’ve been bombarded with questions of integrity, experience, past history. We crave a candidate with integrity, experience, and a history that is open and honest and without skeletons. We have this candidate, Justin Smith for Larimer County Sheriff.

Justin Smith is a current high-ranking member of our sheriff’s office. Over the last two decades, he has worked as a deputy, sergeant, and division commander, has worked in Internal Affairs, and has managed to maintain a clean and open personnel file. His experience has developed his ability to manage at a high level. His past history is an open book, and unblemished by any suspensions, demotions, or reprimands. His history includes not only his experience, but his law enforcement education also. This education includes his bachelors, a masters degree in criminal justice, his FBI National Academy attendance, as well as countless courses specific to his assignments.
