Suspicious male in Wellington

Suspicious Male followed 11-year-old girl home

On March 7 and March 8 at approximately 3:30 p.m., an 11-year-old female was walking from the 4000-block of Wilson Avenue in Wellington when she was followed to her residence by an unknown male. The female ignored the male and called her mother on her cell phone. The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office  was notified on March 8 by the 11 year old and her mother. The 11 year old was not harmed nor contacted by the male.

The male is described as a white male in his mid to late 20’s, with brown hair. He was wearing a white hoodie with a zippered front. The back of the hoodie had brown letters on it, possibly an A and F or an A and R. He is approximately 5′ 7″ – 5′ 10″ in height and was wearing prescription glasses. The male had on dark sweatpants on March 7 and blue jeans on March 8. He was wearing light colored sneakers on both occasions.

An alert notice has been sent to parents of students at Eyestone Elementary, Rice Elementary and Wellington Middle School in Wellington, Colorado.
