Wilson 60th Anniversary   Curtis and Joyce Wilson were married in Berthoud, Colorado on January 18, 1953 and now, 60 years later, they are having a celebration.   Frank Samuel Macdonald of Loveland, Colo. died Dec 5, 2012 at Pathways Hospice Care Center. He was born on Dec 24, 1924 in Valverde, a truck farming area west of the South Platte River in Denver, to Frank P. and Lois E. (Merman) Macdonald. Sam attended McKinley Grade School and Grant Jr. High and graduated from South High School in 1942. He was a member of the South Platte Park Pirates softball team. Sheriff to speak at Berthoud AARP

Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith will be the speaker at the Berthoud AARP meeting on Wednesday, Octover 12. The program will begin at approximately 5:30 p.m. following the chapters pot luck supper. The public is invited to come listen to the sheriff. The topics will include the operation of the Larimer County Jail and the proposed sales tax extension to support jail operation. TMS Fire Choir at AARP

The Turner Middle School show choir, the Fire Choir, joined the local chapter of the AARP for a pot luck supper on Wednesday evening and then put on a wonderful show for the gathered senior citizens. No story, just a great bunch of kids.
