Cinderella comes to Berthoud
The Berthoud High School singers and actors are in the final stages of dress rehearsal for the production of Cinderella. This particular version is the Rogers and Hammerstein play which was written for television and first appeared in 1957 featuring Julie Andrews as Cinderella. Two more television productions were done, the first in 1965 with Leslie Ann Warren as Cinderella and Ginger Rogers as the king. Berthoud Football Commemorates 2010 Season
By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer The Berthoud High football team finished the 2010 season with a 3-7 record and last place finish in the 3A Northern conference. The disappointing record did not stop the team from celebrating their achievements and honoring the graduating seniors on Wednesday evening. Two seniors were singled out for special recognition. Berthoud football drops to Mountain View 38-7 By Dan Karpiel Sports Writer Friday night at Ray Patterson Field in Loveland the Berthoud Spartan football team lost their fourth consecutive game by 38-7 score to the Mountain View Mountain Lions. The loss drops Berthoud’s record to 3-6 on the season and 0-4 in the conference. Mountain View entered the week as the number five ranked team statewide in class 3A.
