The Berthoud High School gymnasium will be transformed into an art gallery on Friday, May 7. It is time for the annual Evening With the Arts, featuring visual and applied arts by students in grades 6 to 12. Dallas, Texas (Action Works) April 25, 2010 – Colorado was well represented and had its best ever results at the 2010 VEX World Championships held in Dallas, Texas April 22 - 24. Three of the four teams were Berthoud and Loveland area teams, representing Berthoud High School (2 teams) and Bill Reed Middle School. The Daniels Fund announced its scholarship recipients this week. Three seniors in the Thompson School District were awarded the scholarship. By 5 p.m. the auxiliary gym already had a good supply and variety of merchandise and cars and trucks kept arriving with more. Obituary: Robert John Schleiger

Robert John Schleiger, 75, of Loveland died April 3, 2010, at home with his family at his bedside. He fought a courageous battle against cancer. Bob was born to John and Christina Schleiger on June 13, 1934 east of Berthoud, CO. He attended Whipple School east of Berthoud through seventh grade and then graduated from Berthoud High School in 1952.
