Philo Grommon, a freshman of Johnstown Colorado became victim of a violent physical assault that would forever change his life and lives’ of those that love him dearly. Loveland Honors two from Berthoud
Each year the joint team of Thompson School District, McKee Medical Center and the City of Loveland host a special event to honor volunteers who make a difference. Standoff in Berthoud
What started as a drunk driver pursuit by the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) has ended up as a standoff on the northeast edge of Berthoud. According to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office the CSP was attempting to stop a motor home that had been called in as a Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately (REDDI) report. Edith Ava Nusser, 93, of Berthoud passed away at the Berthoud Living Center in Berthoud, Colorado on Thursday, April 7, 2011. Edith was born on July 17, 1917 in Fulton, Missouri to Sherman T. and Ava (Strong) Pash. She married Carl William Nusser, Jr. on May 19, 1967 in Rock Port, Missouri and they moved to Berthoud, Colorado in 1970 from Hancock, Iowa.
