Obituary: Johnny “Ace” Kostka

  Johnny Kosta was born November 6, 1943 and died of cancer on September 14, 2011. His wife, Mary Jo Kosta, son Kevin Kostka and daughter Kerri, will be celebrating his life on Sunday, September 25 at 4:30 p.m. at Grace Place, 250 Mountain Avenue, Berthoud.

Alicia Lentz dies at Denver Hospital

Denver   Alicia Lentz, a 2009 graduate of Berthoud High School and a student at the University of Northern Colorado, died Wednesday at the Swedish Medical Center in Denver, a hospital spokeswoman said Friday. Lentz was a junior studying ecology and evolutionary biology. The UNC Mirror reported that Lentz died of a brain aneurysm. She played mellophone in the Pride of the Rockies marching band. Obituary: Wilbur Austin Heiser

  Wilbur “Wil” Austin Heiser, 79, of Loveland died September 13, 2011 at his home. He was born January 15, 1932 near Charleston, Iowa to Andrew and Irma (Burghoffer) Heiser. Wil lived in Longmont from 1966 to 1984, he then moved to Loveland. On January 2, 1999 he married Treva Edwards. He worked as an air-traffic controller at the Longmont FAA Center for 30 years.
