September 17, 1940 - November 16, 2013 Raymond Dicks, age, 73, passed away on Saturday, November 16, in Eugene, Oregon while exiting Autzen Stadium. Walter “Pops” Frederick Meyer passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. He was born in Pender, Nebraska, on August 10, 1920, to August and Ida Meyer. He was the youngest of 11 children. Laurene grew up in Berthoud and graduated from Berthoud High School in 1948. Shortly after high school, on March 20, 1949 she married Chester Ellis in Berthoud.
