Obituary: Carolina Sell
Carolina Sell, 92, of Loveland, CO, died on July 21, 2012 at Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Loveland. She was born on December 4, 1919 in Windsor, Colorado, to Jacob and Mary (Kindsfather) Hill. In her early years, Carolina worked as a nanny for the owners of Denver Botanical Gardens. She married David Sell on March 16, 1941 in Loveland. He preceded her in death on October 7, 1992. Carolina worked as a cook at the Wayside Inn in Berthoud for 25 years, retiring in the ... AMVS to Conduct First Aid Classes Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialists (AMVS) in Longmont will be heading to Berthoud to conduct first aid classes for Berthoud Fire Protection District. The week of July 23, various members of the emergency staff, including doctors and nurses, will be traveling to Berthoud for three separate classes. I was privileged to know Gwen Hawley in her capacity as a trustee for the Berthoud Public Library, and came to count her among my friends. Gwen was a library trustee from January 2000 - December 2007. These were years of great change and challenge for the library and Gwen's calm and intellect were greatly valued by her fellow trustees.
