I figured that God would let me know when it was time to quit. Now is the time,” Sommers said. Her tenure of 45 years has allowed Sommers to see church history in the making. Fatal accident east of Berthoud

Update June 4. The investigating officers of the Colorado State Patrol have concluded that the pickup truck crossed into the eastbound lane in front of the empty cement truck. The driver of the pickup was Travis McPherson, 20, of Loveland. The driver of the cement truck was Edward Brown, 59, of Johnstown. Brown suffered a broken rib in the accident. Saturday, May 1 A loose Black Labrador Retriever was picked up on East Iowa Avenue. The owner managed to claim the dog before it was turned over to the Humane Society. A reported trespass in progress at Berthoud Elementary School was juveniles on the roof retrieving a ball. Their parents were present and supervising.
