Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident reports for April 2015 Thursday, April 2 BFPD responded with TVEMS to a medical call for breathing problems on 42nd Street. The patient was transported. BFPD assisted a citizen on Nations Way with the smoke detectors in their residence. The batteries were replaced and the homeowners were advised to replace the detectors as soon as possible. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Summary, July 2011 Friday, July 1 BFPD responded to power lines down near County Road 4 and Arleigh Dr. Saturday, July 2 BFPD responded to a grass fire on the west side of Interstate 25. A pickup truck was parked in the area of the quickly spreading grass fire. The fire was extinguished and the truck was not damaged.
