Town Administrator Hart talks water
By Judy Lehn Wednesday’s Citizen First forum on Berthoud water drew about 50 residents who wanted to hear what Town Administrator Michael Hart had to say. The subjects covered ranged from the annual foul smelling and tasting water, to the “exorbitant” water bills paid by town citizens. Berthoud Art in the Garden a smashing success
By Judy Lehn In spite of uncooperative weather, the first annual Berthoud Art in the Garden was a huge success on Saturday, June 26. The artists arriving at the set up time of 1:30 p.m. were greeted by gusty winds, drizzling rain and then a final downpour before the sun came out at the historic Waggener Farm on Mountain Avenue. Realities Riders come to Berthoud
For the second year in a row the Berthoud Recorder, now the Recorder Online and Berthoud BMX hosted the Realties for Children motorcycle rally and poker run stop in Berthoud. New last year, the Fickel Park stop was favorite venue for the riders. The only non-commercial stop on the rally, the Berthoud BMX Association organizes the activities as a fundraiser for the Berthoud BMX racing team and track.
