Night time southbound I‐25 closures for interchange improvements In order to set the new US 34 bridge arches across I‐25 without endangering travelers on I‐25, all southbound I‐25 lanes between the Crossroads and Hwy 402 exits will be closed at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22 and Monday, Dec. 27. Colorado Department of Transportation Press Release Due to the inclement weather forecasted for Sunday and Monday, the contractor has decided to postpone the closure of US 34 just east of Estes Park, which was scheduled to begin on March 1st for bridge demolition and reconstruction.
