  Date:                12/16/2011 The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce the graduation of  Deputies Mark Hecker, Justin Calkins and Russell Downing  from the Adams County Peace Officer Standards and Training Academy. Larimer County Sheriff's Kids Christmas Party   The Larimer County Sheriff's Office and Alternative Sentencing Department treated 140 kids from lower income homes to a festive Christmas party last night (December 5, 2011) complete with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Boy Scout Troop 184 provided a delicious meal and assisted LCSO deputies, explorers, reserves and posse members as well as Larimer County ASD employees in providing a fun night of games, gifts and food.     October 19, 2011   Larimer County Sheriff Justin Smith today awarded a Sheriff's Commendation to Deputy Ted Wilson and Deputy Justin Atwood for "bringing credit to themselves, their squads and the Larimer County Sheriff's Office " for the compassion they demonstrated to a six-year-old burglary victim earlier this year.
