Roger was born on July 25, 1929 to Theron Clay and Rosa Leora (Stewart) Gibbons in Worland, Wyoming where he grew up on his family’s ranch. He graduated high school in Worland, and then attended and graduated from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa Oklahoma. Pearl was born on Oct. 6, 1919, in Ness City, Kan., to Thomas H. and Edith Annette (Tarman) Wierman. She met and later married Ellis C. Wykoff in Ness City on Oct. 30, 1937, and moved to Berthoud in 1949 from Bazine, Kan. Ellis preceded Pearl in death on July 23, 2002.
