Thanks to Friends of the Library
To the Editor, On behalf of the Berthoud Community Library District staff, I would like to thank the Friends of the Berthoud Community Library for all the financial support they give the Library. So far this year the group has given the Library $1845.00. This money funded the summer reading program for teens, supplemented our DVD budget, and paid for staff continuing education. Greeley Museums Publishing Book On Weld County’s
The Friends of the Greeley Museums and the City of Greeley Museums are preparing a book on Weld County’s history to be released in 2011, the 150th anniversary of Weld County. The comprehensive illustrated book will be titled Weld County Towns: The First 150 Years. Nancy Lynch, exhibits curator for the Greeley Museums, and a team of museum historians are researching the community histories and selecting images for the book.
