  LOVELAND, Colo. - The Ontario Reign edged the Colorado Eagles, 9-8, in a shootout that was one of the wildest games ever played at the Budweiser Events Center -- on several levels.  A total of 28 penalties were called between the two teams, resulting in a special teams nightmare that saw 11 of the 16 regulation goals scored via special teams (10 on the power play).  Five of the goals were scored on 5-on-3 power plays, including four in the second period alone. LOVELAND, Colo. - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs evened the Central Hockey League's Presidents' Cup Finals series with a 5-3 win over the Colorado Eagles in Game 2 of the best-of-seven set. The 'Bugs got their five goals from five different players on just 19 shots in the contest. For the Eagles, Riley Nelson continued his strong play, playing a part in all three of his team's scores. RAPID CITY, S.D. - The Colorado Eagles evened their Turner Conference Finals series against the Rapid City Rush at one game apiece with a 4-3 win at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The penalty-filled game between the rival clubs was chippy throughout, with three goals -- including the game-winner -- coming on power plays.   LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles evened their opening round Central Hockey League playoff series against the Quad City Mallards with a 5-4, overtime victory in Game 2 of the best-of-5 series. It marked the second night in a row that the winning team came back from behind to force overtime before winning the game early in the extra session.
