Ruby V. Wykoff (96) died September 6, 2014 at Loveland Good Samaritan Village. Ruby was born March 16, 1918 in Ness City, Kansas to Rudolph and Ellen E. (Kinsinger) Kopper. She married Charley T. Wykoff on March 20, 1938 in Ness City. They were married 70 years. On the day they were married, they moved to rural Berthoud. James J. Laffoon, of Berthoud and recently of Loveland, died August 20, 2014 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. He was 89-years-old. Jim was born November 6, 1924 in Woodrow, Colorado to Ross Morton Laffoon and Bessie Canatsey Laffoon. He grew up on a farm on the eastern plains of Colorado and later moved to Aurora where he graduated from William Smith High School. Pearl W. Wykoff, 91, of Loveland and formerly Berthoud, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at Loveland Good Samaritan Village Health Care. Pearl was born on Oct. 6, 1919, in Ness City, Kan., to Thomas H. and Edith Annette (Tarman) Wierman. She met and later married Ellis C. Wykoff in Ness City on Oct. 30, 1937, and moved to Berthoud in 1949 from Bazine, Kan. Ellis preceded Pearl in death on July 23, 2002.
