Nov. 9, 1916 — Sept. 6, 2010 Pauline Steving, 93, of Greeley, formerly of Loveland and Longmont, passed away at Fairacres Manor in Greeley on Monday, September 6, 2010. Pauline was born in Berthoud, Colorado, on November 9, 1916, to John Henry and Christina (Urbach) Giebelhaus. Pauline married Fred Steving in Fort Collins, Colorado, on September 12, 1937. River Flooding Prompts Greeley Public Works to Close 35th Avenue & Poudre River Trail. The Cache La Poudre River through Greeley continues to run at or near flood stage due to rain and snowmelt. As a result, Greeley’s public works department has now added 35th Avenue between F Street and O Street to the list of closed streets.
