“Enough Excuses” Flu Vaccination Campaign

DENVER - With the long wait for 2009 H1N1 influenza vaccine behind us, the state health department has launched an “Enough Excuses” media campaign urging everyone to get an H1N1 flu vaccination.  The awareness campaign is being launched just ahead of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) National Influenza Vaccination Week, which begins Sunday, Jan. 10 and runs through Saturday, Jan. 16. H1N1 vaccination clinic on Jan. 10

The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment announces that there are still appointments available for its final H1N1 (“Swine Flu”) vaccination clinic on Sunday, Jan. 10.  The clinic will run from 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Fossil Ridge High School, 5400 Ziegler Road, Fort Collins. Flu Now in Colorado; Pork Producers Call for Calm,

No matter what you want to call it, "swine flu" or "H1N1 influenza" is now in Colorado. Local pork producers are working hard to spread the word that their product is safe to eat, but at the same time the Pew Environment Group is calling attention to their study from last year on animal health and living conditions on industrial farms, which warned of just such an outbreak.
