The 2011 Larimer County Department of Natural Resources' Annual Entrance Permits, for parks and open spaces managed by Larimer County, will be available for purchase on December 1. These are 13-month permits, valid December 2010, through December 2011, and allow use of Carter Lake, Flatiron Reservoir, Hermit Park Open Space, Horsetooth Reservoir, Horsetooth Mountain Open Space, Pinewood Reservoir, and Ramsay-Shockey Open Space. Hermit Park Open Space to Host Boy Scouts 100-Year Celebration Fall Camporee

The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources is excited to host the Longs Peak Council, Boy Scouts of America celebration of 100 Years of Scouting at a Fall Camporee, September 24-26, 2010, at Hermit Park Open Space just outside of Estes Park. Larimer County and Longs Peak Council staff and volunteers have worked together for over a year to plan this historic event.
