AFA Hockey in final four of AHA

Air Force (18-11-6 overall and 14-7-6 in the AHA), the second seed in the AHA Tournament, will face third-seeded Holy Cross (17-15-5, 14-8-5 AHA) on Friday, March 18, in the Atlantic Hockey semifinals at 7:15 p.m. ET at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, N.Y. Eagles playoff tickets on sale Friday, 10 a.m.

    LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced today that playoff tickets for home games at the Budweiser Events Center will go on sale this Friday, March 18, at 10 a.m. Game dates, times and opponent are yet to be determined, as final playoff seedings won't be known until the end of the regular season (March 27). RAPID CITY, S.D. - The Colorado Eagles defeated the rival Rapid City Rush, 7-3, on the strength of four power play goals. The win puts the two teams in a tie for first place in the Turner Conference, however Colorado has a game in hand. With the win, the Eagles went 9-3-0 in the season series against the defending champs. Colorado jumped out to a 2-0 lead in just over six minutes. LOVELAND, Colo. - The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees defeated the Colorado Eagles, 2-0, at the Budweiser Events Center, marking the first time the Eagles were shutout at home in their history (regular season or playoffs).
