Change to Larimer County Commissioners’ meeting

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, Administrative Matters meetings officially begin at 9:00 am with Public Comment first on the agenda. Hoffman to be new Larimer Planning Division Director

Larimer County, Colorado - Linda C. Hoffmann will take the lead as Larimer County’s new Planning Division Director January 1, 2010. Hoffmann has served as the County’s Rural Land Use Center (RLUC) Director since June 2008. Under a re-organization of the Planning Division, the Rural Land Use Center will remain in Hoffmann’s prevue as Division Director. 2009 bald eagle watches at Fossil Creek

Each year, bald eagles from the Yukon and beyond migrate south to Fort Collins to roost at Fossil Creek Regional Open Space, located off Hwy 392, just west of the Windsor/I-25 interchange. Our feathered guests are typically with us from the middle of November until March.  Larimer County Natural Resources is offering multiple opportunities for the public to view the eagles and hear a naturalist-led talk about these majestic birds.
