Steven Edward Coseo 57, of Berthoud formerly of Loveland, passed away at University Hospital in Aurora, Colorado on August 26, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He never gave up the fight.Steve was born in Loveland on January 19, 1958 to Donald and Edna (Geist) Coseo. Steve was the oldest of three children. To the Editor: I could not believe what I was seeing when I watched the Waldo Canyon fire on TV the night of June 26, 2012, as a wildfire destroyed 346 homes in western Colorado Springs. Given the right conditions -- very high temperatures, very dry vegetation, and strong, erratic winds -- the Waldo Canyon fire could occur here in the Loveland area.   Richard “Dick” Kenagy passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015, in Loveland at the McKee Medical Center. Richard Bruce Kenagy was born on April 18, 1928 to Bruce B. and Mabel L. (Berner) Kenagy in Loveland. He graduated from Loveland High School in 1946. Dick continued his education receiving his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in 1951.   Should Loveland eliminate its sales tax on food? I say no for three reasons; Elimination would cost the city $6.2 million per year. Elimination would remove the city's most stable revenue source; the only one that will be there for us in good times and bad. Its negative effects can be mitigated. Premier Gymnastics: Roctoberfest

By Wendy Kenner October 11, Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies competed in the 2014 AGA Rocktoberfest. The gymnastics meet was hosted by Adrenaline Gymnastics on October 4 and 5. The Level 3 and Level 4 teams placed 2nd in the team competition. The Level 5 team placed 5th in the team competition. There were several top 5 individual finishes as well. In the Level 3 Child Division, Lauren Jacobson placed 5th on Vault, 1st on Bars, 2nd on Beam and Floor. She won the All-Around with a score of 37.1. ... Full Story
