Lueary L. Rosenburg, 75 of Loveland, passed away April 13, 2015 at the Berthoud Living Center. Lueary Lyn Hepner was born on June 19, 1939 in Annawan, IIllinois and moved to Loveland when she was 6. She graduated from Loveland High School in 1958. Lueary married Gary D. Sprague on April 11, 1959 and together they had 3 children. She later married Alan L. Mary Ann Parrish Alverson, 72, of Loveland, passed away February 28, 2015 at Columbine Centre Avenue Health in Fort Collins. She was born August 29, 1942 in Carey, Texas to Arthur Leo Parrish and Tressie Lavena (Williams) Parrish.   Should Loveland eliminate its sales tax on food? I say no for three reasons; Elimination would cost the city $6.2 million per year. Elimination would remove the city's most stable revenue source; the only one that will be there for us in good times and bad. Its negative effects can be mitigated. To the Editor, Wednesday night our Board of Education argued over whether the word "choice" should be defined before inclusion in a policy for evaluating the superintendent. By Wendy Kenner October 11, Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies competed in the 2014 AGA Rocktoberfest. The gymnastics meet was hosted by Adrenaline Gymnastics on October 4 and 5. The Level 3 and Level 4 teams placed 2nd in the team competition. The Level 5 team placed 5th in the team competition. There were several top 5 individual finishes as well. November 9, 1921 – September 1, 2014 Lyle Dean Ellis quietly passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at the age of 92 at home surrounded by family. Lyle was born in Norton County, Kansas on November 9, 1921 to Mary Velma Higgins and John Elmer Ellis. He lived in Norton with his parents and his brother Chester “Chet” and his sister Lucille.     Harold Roland Eckhardt, 87, of Berthoud passed away on September 22, 2014 at the Medical Center of the Rockies. He was born February 16, 1927 in Greeley, Colorado to Pauline Eckhardt and Henry Meyer. He married Earlene Faye Nicks on June 11, 1950 in Johnstown, Colorado.   2014 Season Opener By Wendy Kenner September 15, 2014 Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies hosted the 2014 Season Opener Compulsory Gymnastics Meet. The meet was held at Loveland High School on September 6 and 7. The Level 3, 4 and 5 teams from Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies all competed at this season’s first meet.
