    Incident Activity for March 2014 Saturday, March 1 BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 25 at mile marker 248. This was a single vehicle accident with moderate damage and no injuries reported. BFPD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 56 and County Road 21. The crew did not find any levels of carbon monoxide in the home. Larimer County Sheriff Officer also responded due to the frequency of calls. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident activity for March 2012 Thursday, March 1 BFPD was called to Fifth St. for a possible chemical hazard. The crew found two 55 gallon drums filled with unknown chemicals and they advised the responsible party to contact a haz-mat mitigation company to remove the drums.
