Tuesday, February 1 A vehicle ran into a fence in the 400 Block of East County Road 8. No injuries were reported. An injured cat was returned to its owner in the 600 block of Sunnywood Place. A 1980 Pontiac was reported stolen from the 200 block of Welch Avenue. A resident in the 200 block of Second Street saw footprints in the snow and reported having a prowler. Saturday, January 1 Police assisted a motorist at Mountain Avenue and Second Street when his tire came off the rim. Someone at the Hamilton Apartments received a strange letter. The case is being handled as harassment. A fence and a sign in the 400 block of E County Road 8 were damaged by a hit and run driver. Berthoud Police Beat October Friday, October 1 Police responded to a report of liquor in Berthoud Park, but found no violation. Two barking dog complaints were received between 7:30 and 8 p.m. The first in the 800 block of Longview, the second on Sage Place. Both pet owners were give verbal warnings. Sheriff investigates marijuana cultivation
On October 4, 2010, at 1:45 A.M. a pedestrian flagged down an on-duty deputy in the 1300 block of North Taft Road. The complainant reported that he and his friends had been assaulted by various individuals who lived on a small parcel of property in the 1300 block on North Taft Road in unincorporated Larimer County. Sunday, August 1 A barking dog at 12:25 a.m. resulted in a written warning to its Sixth Street owner. Police stopped a driver at 1:44 a.m. shortly after he left the ramp from First Street to Highway 287.
