Berthoud Police Beat October Friday, October 1 Police responded to a report of liquor in Berthoud Park, but found no violation. Two barking dog complaints were received between 7:30 and 8 p.m. The first in the 800 block of Longview, the second on Sage Place. Both pet owners were give verbal warnings. Sheriff investigates marijuana cultivation
On October 4, 2010, at 1:45 A.M. a pedestrian flagged down an on-duty deputy in the 1300 block of North Taft Road. The complainant reported that he and his friends had been assaulted by various individuals who lived on a small parcel of property in the 1300 block on North Taft Road in unincorporated Larimer County. Sunday, August 1 A barking dog at 12:25 a.m. resulted in a written warning to its Sixth Street owner. Police stopped a driver at 1:44 a.m. shortly after he left the ramp from First Street to Highway 287. The driver, a 39-year-old Loveland resident, was cited for DUI and failure to drive in a single lane. The case of the vehicle running in to the building at 919 Mountain Avenue is under investigation.
