County Commissioners to Ask the Public about Medical

Larimer County, Colorado – The Board of Larimer County Commissioners (BCC) will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 23 at 6:30pm  to allow for public comment on whether a decision to ban or regulate businesses that sell medical marijuana should be made by the BCC or put to a public vote. The hearing will take place in the Hearing Room, 1st floor, at the Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building, 200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins.

Berthoud Board of Trustees had a full agenda for the June 15 meeting. Medical marijuana was eleventh on the agenda, but two business asked to speak during the Citizen Participation. Both wanted to be exempted from the moratorium and be allowed to open for business before July 1. Both had obtained a town sales tax license before the moratorium went into effect.
