Thursday, July 1 Dog days at the Police Department. In the early morning, 2 a.m., the Loveland Report Herald driver brought in a Jack Russell Terrier. Water bubbling up in a field at SE Second Street and East Colorado Avenue was cause enough for a concerned citizen to report it to authorities. Police turned the matter over to the water department. Update June 4. The investigating officers of the Colorado State Patrol have concluded that the pickup truck crossed into the eastbound lane in front of the empty cement truck. The driver of the pickup was Travis McPherson, 20, of Loveland. The driver of the cement truck was Edward Brown, 59, of Johnstown. Brown suffered a broken rib in the accident. Demolished Subaru at the northeast corner of the intersection of US Highway 287 and Mountain Avenue. Berthoud emergency personnel responded to a report of a four-car motor vehicle accident on US Highway 287 at State Highway 56 on Wednesday afternoon.
