National Western Stock Show parade Jan. 12

DENVER –Rockies player and long-time Denver sports icon Todd Helton will be serving as Grand Marshal of the 2010 Downtown Denver Stock Show Parade on Jan. 12 at high noon.  A herd of Longhorn cattle will lead the parade through the skyscrapers of downtown Denver. Followed by floats, marching bands, horses and performances by cowboys and cowgirls, this kick-off event is an annual tradition that replicates Colorado’s historic cowboy days.
