PHOENIX - Banner Health's kidney transplant center at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix has been rated the No. 1 kidney transplant center in the U.S., according to a study funded by the National Institutes of Health. All 246 kidney transplant centers in the U.S. were assessed in the study by using publicly reported data from the transplant centers and Medicare. Ryan "Shane" Dooley, 34 years old, of Berthoud, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 22 at McKee Medical Center. Shane was born on March 11, 1976 in Phoenix, Arizona to Debbie and Mike Dooley. He is survived by his parents, his sisters Jessica and Shara and brother-in-law Clay. He is also survived by his three children: Gage, Chase, and Kylee Dooley.
