Two CAWG Scholarships for Colorado High School Seniors   February 21, 2012, Fort Collins, Colo. – The Colorado Association of Wheat Growers (CAWG) will award two $1,000 scholarships to Colorado high school seniors. Help for Loveland seniors and disabled residents

      A pair of teams of Loveland Solid Waste Division employees this afternoon began initial safety and cleanup work for Loveland seniors and disabled residents who have requested assistance with tree limb issues resulting from this week’s storm. The crews will remove any hanging limbs they can safely reach from the ground in these residents’ yards. The Foundation on Aging for Larimer County has announced an increase in 2011 funding for its emergency assistance program.  According to Bonnie Shetler, President of the Foundation on Aging Board, this decision was in response to an increase in requests for funds on behalf of individuals in need. “The purpose of this program,” said Shetler, “is to support low income seniors with immediate, one-time assistance with unanticipated expenses for such basic needs as medicine, housing, ...
