Updated October 2, 2013 Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident Activity – September 2016 Thursday, September 1 BFPD responded to the 3000 block of Fairways Drive for a female that had fallen on the patio. The crew assisted TVEMS with loading of the patient for transport. A 91-year-old male had fallen off the curb in front of Station 1. Obituary: Ricardo ‘Rick’ Mendoza
Ricardo (Rick) Mendoza was born to Rito and Sara Mendoza on April 6, 1955 in New Braunfels Texas, relocating to Loveland/Berthoud area in 1957. Ricardo was raised in Berthoud and attended school there moving to Dacono 25 years ago. He loved his family and children made him smile. He was an avid Bronco fan who loved fishing, playing pool, traveling and spending time with his friends at Jerry D's.
